Beautiful Umhlanga

Since a large percentage of my blog views have been stemming from Europe lately, I was inspired to promote a little tourism about my home town, Durban South Africa; should any of you pay a visit to us...

Having my little sister visit from the UK recently encouraged me to become her 'tour guide' again in our beautiful city, and take her out and about to all our local favourite hot spots.

For some vibey holiday fun, our Umhlanga beaches and village area has to be one of the best if you're visiting Durban for the first time from abroad.

Buzzing with young people and cocktail bars, you can do a 'pub walk' from place to place around the area , or visit a variety of restaurants. Umhlanga offers one of the most beautiful coastlines in Kwa-Zulu Natal, so all the more reason to bask in the sun on our glorious beaches when you're holidaying here. A great transition into night for party goers - as you can walk off the beach and into one of the cocktail bars in the nearby village...
